Since we've had a lot of new committers lately, I'll belabor one point
on this.  *ONLY* Peter Wemm, John Polkstra and Satoshi Asami-san are
allowed to do this.  They are the *ONLY* people allowed to use cvs
admin as well.  They are the *ONLY* people allowed to touch the
repository outside of the cvs prorgam.  They are the people from whom
you must get explicit approval before tagging "large" portions of the
tree (I think we have a small exception for the before/after tags for
changes that might be dangerous in the kernel).  This includes lock
files owned by you in the CVS tree, as well as files named emacs.core
accidentally committed[*].  :-) cvs@freebsd.org is very responsive.

In the past there have been *BIG* problems when people didn't follow
these rules, or before these rules existed.
