Hi me again
i have FreeBsd release 4.8!!
what is happening exactly is the following ::
I made cvsup and uptdated my ports collection this morning.
I install automake-1.8 and with this autoconf259,
then I try to install from ports collection kfile-plugins.
The compilation ends with a message 'can't find automake-1.8'
but i have installed automake18
so i make a link and then it says 'i cant find autoconf'm
but i have installed autoconf259
so i make onother link
AND then the compiler says : This is automake-1.8.3 but the definition
used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE comes from
automake 1.8.2. You may want to install
the ' Automake' and 'Perl' packages. Grab
them from....
.................................
.................. can't find
components.txt !!!!
What should i do ? i have tried desperatly everything. HELP.
