https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D283826 Bug ID: 283826 Summary: [NEW PORT] graphics/xiccd: X color profile daemon Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: ports@zoltankiraly.com Created attachment 256382 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D256382&action= =3Dedit Patch that adds the graphics/xiccd port The submitted patch adds the graphics/xiccd port. After careful consideration, I chose the "graphics" category because both "gnome-color-manager" and "colord" are in the same category. Honestly, I th= ink "xiccd" wouldn't fit anywhere else, perhaps only in "misc", but the FreeBSD Porters Handbook specifies that "misc" should be avoided whenever possible. This port allows color profiles generated by display calibrators to be load= ed on non-KDE and non-GNOME desktops, such as Xfce. I have tested the port by running it through poudriere and by installing it individually. A user mentioned in 2015 on the FreeBSD Forums that they would create a port for xiccd: https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/icc-profiles-and-startx-on-freebsd.51153/ but it never happened. Since this is something I use, and it's annoying to compile it manually from source, I decided to create the port myself. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
