Tue Feb 6 11:26:56 EST 2001 I had this exact problem last night. I thought that it might have been because I was running named as user bind, so I have now switched to running it as root. If it hangs again, then I think we will have to go back to 8.x. I am running FreeBSD 3.4-Release. Any info would be great. Andrew.
