Thanks to Manolis Kiagias's suggestion, I was able to get ctrl+alt+bksp working in xorg again. However, I've noticed that just restarting hal leaves me with no mouse or keyboard in X. I have to reboot the system to get a mouse & keyboard in X. Is there a way to get hal to reload its configuration withou rebooting? I've tried sending a HUP signal and I've tried "rc.d/hal restart", but so far rebooting is the only thing that works properly. Thanks
