Well.. I have been looking at running the RealVideo player for Linux under 2.2.7 .. I I was wondering if anyone has the steps to making this work... I have found a few i think: LD_LIBRARY_PATH needs to be set so that it points at the correct libs ( or just fix /compat/linux/etc/ld.so.conf ) It seems to be looking at /dev/dsp according to ktrace.. but failing on: 21779 rvplayer CALL open(0x814fcb6,0x801,0xefbf0000) 21779 rvplayer NAMI "/compat/linux/dev/dsp" 21779 rvplayer NAMI "/dev/dsp" 21779 rvplayer RET open 5 21779 rvplayer CALL ioctl(0x5,0x8004500f ,0xefbfcb5c) 21779 rvplayer RET ioctl -1 errno -22 Unknown error: -22 A -22 is EINVAL .. not sure why.. someone has said that this can be made to work with LOTS of tweaking .. but I feel an upgrade to 3.0 to make it work right. Anyone have any idears? - branson ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Branson Matheson " If you are falling off of a mountain, Unix Systems Manager You may as well try to fly."
