Ugh, thanks for reminding me of this. :-)

Hmph.  Yeah, as much as I may have seemingly "defended" the item of
grossness in question, I can't say as I've ever personally liked it,
either.  Give me a day or so and I'll see if I can't figure out a more
elegant solution to this problem.
