I was able to compile the sources OK, but only after blowing away "/usr/include". When I tried to install, things blew up on the share libraries with: "ls.so failed". This makes some sense since the share libraries where being clobbered. I tried to set DESTDIR to point to an unused partition, but make continued to modifiy the "/usr" partition. Any suggestions? Are the "stable" sources considered "current" material, that is to say are they governed by the "current-policy.FAQ"? | Marc V.
