I just confirmed with synth test on FreeBSD 10.3 amd64.  The port builds 
fine.  Can you remove BROKEN until you can narrow down which platform 
it's broken on?  Presumably it's a F12 thing.  It's definitely not 
broken everywhere (or anywhere else).
