Motif is not free software, so there's no port for it in the Ports Collection. However, there is a free clone of Motif called Lesstif that works well in many applications. It's in /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/lesstif these days. If you install Lesstif, you should then edit /etc/make.conf to include the line: HAVE_MOTIF=yes (This line is probably commented out in the /etc/make.conf that you have now.)
