I'm trying to install 3.4-RELEASE onto a new Dell Poweredge 2450 with the Embedded Adapted 7899 SCSI controller (Ultra 160?). No RAID, just one disk... The installer on the CD ( build from the ISO Image) doesn't recognize /can't find any disks. I'm going to try it's twin next to make sure it isn't a hardware issue. I'm booting directly from the CD.
