I have a GPS receiver which uses a USB->serial bridge. At present, I can
use it with the uslcom driver but I don't see a USB-2 equivalent - is
this supported?

dmesg offers:

ucom0: <Silicon Labs CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller, class 0/0,
rev 1.10/1.00, addr 3> on uhub2
