But the problem is that the machine is 486DX4 with 8 MB ram without boot from CDROM bios support. I want to avoid creating boot floppies. So, my quesstion is can i take my h/d to my friend's machine and install FreeBSD in my h/d. If possible where can i load the boot loader. My h/d will be in slave mode. Please let me know the possible solutions to this problem. I have 4 GB h/d out of which 1.2 Gb will be dedicated to FreeBSD and the rest to windows 95 which I have already installed. I have also made the required 1.2Gb partition. Thanks a lot and waiting for the reply. -- Best regards, mailto:katilno420@yahoo.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
