Hi there,
according to FAQ (http://www.= freebsd.org/FAQ/troubleshoot.html#AEN1135)=20 you can set the NMBCLUSTERS option in the KERNEL configuration = to
options "NMBCLUSTERS=3D<n>"  = where <n> is in the range 512-4096, my two questions=20 are:
1. We have servers that this value is = set=20 as options         = NMBCLUSTERS=3D8192=20 is this normal to be that high even in FAQ the MAX is 4096.
2. The entry does not have a quotation = mark around=20 it as the FAQ does is it mandatory to have those=20 quotation marks?
when I issue netstat -m the settings = are realized=20 sine it reports

3187/3616 mbufs in=20 use:
        2890 mbufs allocated = to=20 data
        297 mbufs allocated = to packet=20 headers
2546/2930/8192 mbuf clusters in use = (current/peak/max)
6312 Kbytes=20 allocated to network (86% in use)
0 requests for memory denied
0 = requests=20 for memory delayed
0 calls to protocol drain routines

The reason I'm investigating this is = because I get=20 a KERNEL panic and the server reboots. The message in the = /var/log/messages=20 states:
/kernel: Out of mbuf clusters - adjust = NMBCLUSTERS=20 or increase maxusers!

Any suggestions and ideas are=20 appreciated,thanx.
