I see all the mails flying back and forth, I wasn't sure if these patches/fixes were being added to the ports tree or if they were just hanging out there, so to speak. Sorry about that, my bad. I did a uname and I am running 4.5 STABLE, now, a buddy of mine is running 4.6 PRERELEASE, hmmm, maybe there is something I have missed in my supfiles. kdemultimedia3, I have not tried to build kde3 yet, I have been just watching the gnome emails, waiting to see if ports, etc. are getting updated. I would then try to build and give the thumbs up/down, as it were. I saw a couple emails from you about kde3 builds, did you ever get that working on alpha? -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Gallatin [mailto:gallatin@cs.duke.edu] Sent: Wednesday, May 22, 2002 8:36 AM To: Schroeder, Aaron Cc: 'Paul Halliday'; Kris Kennaway; portmgr@FreeBSD.ORG; re@FreeBSD.ORG; alpha@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: RE: Alpha package building status Schroeder, Aaron writes: > Paul, > > Did you build gnome from ports? Things have been updated quite a bit since then. The people here are talking about fixing alpha related problems so that alpha ports/packages support in 4.6 is not in such bad shape as you found it to be in for 4.5. Speaking of ports.. I've got a patch which I think will get kdemultimedia3 building... Drew To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
