I think that some advise how to print man pages would be useful, but definitely not the advise which was removed. Printing tty rendering of the troff source would give very poor quality of the hard copy. The recipe should print the postscript rendering, which gives the proper exposure of the markup and makes the printing document much more satisfying appearance.
