This has nothing to do with the topic, but it reminded me...  The screen 
port currently is not fully functional.  If screen is installed suid (so 
it may update the utmp file), it simply dumps core as soon as it is run.  
If it is installed non-suid, all works fine (albeit no utmp info is updated).
