Funny you should ask...

Just a few days ago I commented in another thread about a book I just
recently picked up.  It is
_Web_Programming_SECRETS_with_HTML,_CGI,_and_Perl_, isbn 1-56884-848-x
(which is kind of funny, since the 'x' is normally limited to old or expired
isbn numbers).

In it is a chapter on majordomo along with a cgi app (in perl) that allows
you to maintain lists from your web browser.
