Could some kind soul who has >figured out what needs to be done please fill me in? It depends on the board, Digi makes several different 8-port boards. The FAQ and handbook sections are for the dumb boards. I've got several Pc/8e's here working using the dgb driver, I've got a line like: device dgb0 at isa? port 0x200 iomem 0xd0000 iosiz ? tty in my config file, then run `cd /dev; ./MAKEDEV ttyD0 cuaD0' the card has a 78 pin connector on the back, 4 Zilog 8230's and some form of an 80186 on it. Of course I could be way off too. > >Thanks muchly... > >Lee > >(Also, has anyone been able to get the 16-port boards working? What do >you think of them?) I've heard mixed reports of dual 8-ports. I think the 16-ports have different enough hardware that a new driver is needed, at least different firmware :( eric. -- erich@lodgenet.com http://rrnet.com/~erich erich@rrnet.com
