* Technically, it's "has to change user news". It needs to set the path for * the user, and account for people who may have removed and/or changed the * path and shell of that user. It seems to me that you are doing it all from a script (my passwd file now says news is "The Diablo News System"). ;) What you should probably do is change this to pkg/REQ or something so package users can use it too. I recommend you add a question at the beginning about changing the environment of user news. Please condition it on "BATCH" being defined and pass ${SCRIPTS_ENV} to it when you call it from pre-install (see bsd.port.mk). Satoshi
