Windows has a problem with the 589 B/C and the 589 D models. The drivers are different, and if you have both drivers loaded, neither card will work. Same if you have the wrong driver. You'll need to remove the drivers and delete the registry entry to do a complete reinstallation of the correct driver. I have both cards, and I only used to use the "D" card because of this. However, I haven't booted my TP600 under Windows for fifteen days now (had to do so only because the BIOS needed a reset when I got a dock for it). Who do I hit up for my 30-day "clean and sober" chip? The Mantra of Windows support is: when the system is being unstable, reinstall Windows. While that usually does work, UNIX would never have gotten anywhere with a simular support model.
