The server is a DELL PowerEdge 860 . Please find a dmesg output . There is an other bug with this driver (bge0: ) After the boot, the interface is UP without any error but not working. It needs an "ifconfig bge0 down;ifconfig bge0 up" to start working. It looks like the card was not fully initialized before binding the IP ont it. Those 2 problems exist on 2 servers (same hardware). Maybe are the two bugs related. Regards, -- Laurent Frigault | UNIX _IS_ user friendly.
