Hi, i updated my notebook which is a P233/128MB (Kapok 8700) to 4.4 from cdrom. i have done a new setup because of some test installations i had on it since a longer time. no i have the problem that booting is impossible. paniks with "fatal trap 12" process swapper. i managed to do a kernel without pcmcia support (via ssh on another box) and now, after transfering that kernel to the hd, i am able to boot again. everything else looks like working fine, but i loosed my network connection (pcmcia card). will send all the details when beeing back from travelling. but if there would be any suggestion it would be great. i still can boot under windows and debian, but i would like to get freebsd with network back (will try to get an older cd set to buy somewhere here. only have 4.4 with me). -- -- Best regards / Mit freundlichen Gruessen, Karl To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
