Hi, might the reason be the following? Every night I do (from cron), a # portsnap fetch but not portsnap update, this I do just before my weekly # portupgrade -yaRrpb I just did # portsnap update This updated files in /usr/ports/devel/subversion16/files (and also in /usr/ports/devel/subversion/files) with dates of yesterday The $FreeBSD$ line is now: # $FreeBSD: ports/devel/subversion16/Makefile,v 1.138 2011/10/16 14:31:47 lev Exp $ (before that I believe (I look on another FreeBSD system with subversion, where I didn't change anything yet) is was v 1.137 2011/04/01) Is it safe if I do the (c) procedure all over again? or should I first reset something before ? What woul normally be outputted with these (c) commands? 2011/10/17 Lev Serebryakov <lev@freebsd.org> > Hello, n. > You wrote 17 =D0=BE=D0=BA=D1=82=D1=8F=D0=B1=D1=80=D1=8F 2011 =D0=B3., 11:= 55:08: > > > > There was a message in /usr/ports/UPDATING about subversion 1.6.x > > and 1.7.0 > > my daily > > # pkg_version -vIL=3D > > reports > > subversion-1.6.17_2 < needs updating (index has > > 1.7.0_1) > > I didn't use subversion-freebsd in the past and I want to stick to > > version 1.6 > > So from /usr/ports/UPDATING, I believe (c) applies to me > > I ran > > # cd /usr/ports/devel/subversion16 > > # make config > > this showed me the same options as I always had... > > No trace of the new options, which I would probably have wanted to > > deselect if they > > were there, but I would have expected them to be there ?? > > -- is this normal? > It is strange.
