Once you've figured out how to do this, please let us know how the
wording could be improved - it seems clear to me, but then I'm already
familiar with the procedure.

Basically:
- Check your port complies with the "DOs and DONTs" section of the
  Porter's Handbook
- Create a shar (shar `find port-dir`)
- uuencode the shar if it's large
- send-pr(1)

If this doesn't help, which stage of the process do you find
confusing?
