https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D218146 Bug ID: 218146 Summary: x11/lightdm: screws up envvars Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: woodsb02@freebsd.org Reporter: godevilove@ya.ru Assignee: woodsb02@freebsd.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(woodsb02@freebsd.org) Lightdm screws up environmental variables for any user logged in through it. It cuts down $PATH for user to /usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin, cutting away s= uch paths as /sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/home/user/bin. It even screws up envvars set by /etc/login.conf! As a consequence - it scr= ews up localization configured via /etc/login.conf This can not be justified by "sbin's are for superusers", because they are = not. FreeBSD: 11.0-RELEASE-p8 lightdm: 1.20.0_4, compiled from ports using synth (because it fails to com= pile using portmaster). --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
