no.  because vi is evil.

it took all of my self control not to counter the "put vi in /bin"
thread with "put emacs in /bin"...

seriously though...

how can i disable the cvs minor mode in emacs-20.2?  i don't mirror
the cvs repository here.

i've just upgraded from emacs-19.30...  this is new behavior in
emacs.  outside of this irritation, the new version 20 seems to be
much improved...
