To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Date: Tuesday, January 26, 1999 1:53 AM Subject: NIC Problems Hello, I have tried to install a number of UNIX/LINUX OS's including Red Hat Linux, and Solaris. All of which did not support my NIC. It is a D-Link DE 220 and most OS's support the 550 model, but not mine. I was wondering if any knew if FreeBSD would be able to run my NIC. I need this to work so that my Internet Connection can be established. I have a Cable Modem and would love to run UNIX or LINUX, but I have not found one that will work properly. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
