I paid $360 each for my two newest 2GB SCSI disks: Jul 8 22:40:11 journey2 /kernel: (ncr0:1:0): "DEC DSP3210S 442A" type 0 fixed SCSI 2 Jul 8 22:40:11 journey2 /kernel: sd1(ncr0:1:0): Direct-Access Jul 8 22:40:11 journey2 /kernel: sd1(ncr0:1:0): FAST SCSI-2 100ns (10 Mb/sec) offset 8. They're from Hi-Tech Distributors in LA, 800-406-1275. Scsi isn't always so expensive as everyone says, as long as you compare apples to apples (and not comparing the cheapest IDE quote against the most expensive SCSI quote). I have no doubt there's even cheaper out there. > > This is normally when the "SCSI is much better" argument starts. > > It is.
