I am using /stand/sysinstall for the disk editor. I select the whole drive to be used, go to the partitioner, partition the whole drive as one partition. My problem is the installer won't write the data because it wants a root partition on the drive. > Any suggestions? Humour it? :-) If sysinstall wants a root partition on the drive, then give it one (it won't really be a root partition unless you go on and complete the installation, so it's a harmless piece of deception...) BTW could you try and press the return key every 70-72 characters? Your message arrived as a single long line, which is difficult to read on some mailers. -- James Raynard, Edinburgh, Scotland james@jraynard.demon.co.uk http://www.freebsd.org/~jraynard/
