OK I got the bad news, now I finally have to bite the bullet. It appears
I have to reinstall the OS from scratch. Unfortunately I don't currently
have the means to easily dump/restore my existing file system and I will
need some additional hardware upgrading.

I'm not an experienced sys admin (this home system was configured by
someone else several years ago.)

So I am looking for a FreeBSD consultant in the SF Bay Area for a few
hours consultation to help smooth this transition and reconfiguration.
I'd like someone who has experience with Linux installation and
Linux/FreeBSD compatibility as well (no flames please!)

I am in North Oakland. Anyone local interested in consulting?
Or any recommendations on a consultant?
