There is soft-fail, configure just marks that locales are not supported and use "C". Sorry I don't remember port names where I saw it right now and don't have a time to search for them right now too. Soft-fails (like in tcl with nl_langinfo) are almost impossible to detect excepting specific situation happens or source code inspection. Do we ever need them when there is no harm to keep 8859-1 locales? --=20 http://ache.vniz.net/ --CV3f7EI3iERDj0vSvSFiO0l5rNL3jVXkf Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEcBAEBCAAGBQJWSID6AAoJEKUckv0MjfbKBsQH/iQ3fB49jepAL4dc8cdQ98d4 6rXZtXlPBbYdmJY2GYA29hWvRLmq8e6ySRtI7wUu/VWyJbbIipTZHSHXpTc5lgXE K/aANZPyagcx+24d2JIltL0/J3TV7tZ0XP5qJioA8syB+2lfGSK5yT8d7pcsGot0 m/aQn39l0QIMKRYPdRHO+9P3n3CuX7cuhRBqI6VLVwJQPLocdHkXnb37TFqZkb0B V8X/dmoEU9Urov4TaM5gLU1ub/QoSY7M+NSKvQHL0UQzSEpYWUgKgGGRRJwKjKjn z8F+m5QU92vA0lRX4umOf4jV7Za/NtvAHJPssEBxmnepN3ChNofl2uk/OMA3KpY= =SMgy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --CV3f7EI3iERDj0vSvSFiO0l5rNL3jVXkf--
