Geeeezzz. AFAIK, you have a proprietary CD-ROM, isn't it ? (it's not IDE or
SCSI, right ?)

Did you check if it is compatible ? (Tehre is a HW compatibility list at
www.freebsd.org, somewhere, but you can always search at

www.freebsd.org/search.html


You can always copy all the CD - or the needed files into your HD and
install it via DOS partition. Instructions for that can be found at the CD.
