People are already unhappy that things aren't being done properly. Do you really want to do poor seeding instead of waiting for mount_mfs(8) to be fixed? Let's just get things done step by step. It looks to me like people are only now realizing how startup seeding has been done up 'til now and are voicing their displeasure with that. That's really poor timing, since Doug is busy working to make things better. Doug just fixed part of the problem and happened to make fixing the rest of it that much easier at the same time. Since neither Doug nor I are complete morons, it would be great if those people who aren't actually working on this and haven't said anything up 'til now just trust us to carry on improving things.
