Your support of FreeBSD is appreciated. This port does not have a maintainer, and I was wondering if you wouldn't like to take up the task? Duties, mostly include just what you did. You submitted a patch to update the port. Other duties would be to approve (or disapprove ) and pr's or patches submitted (in case someone beats you to the update).
