Hi,

I forgot to mention on thing.  If you go to: http://www.sctp.org, you
will see a link to the OpenSS7 project.  That project is developing
an open source SS7 protocol stack, and also an SCTP implementation.

The OpenSS7 project is primarily Linux based, but hopefully as
the BSD implementation of SCTP matures, a lot of the OpenSS7 work
will be reusable under FreeBSD.
