As far as I understand, you have one class C network (195.*.*.*) without subnets(you can't use 128 as host address with subneting) or your addresses are REALLY faked :-)). What about not to add any records into routing table? Regards, Andrew Karev >I have problems with using FreeBSD 3.1 box as Gateway between two SCO UNIX Open Server 5.04 hosts. >Here my intranet network (All addresses faked): > Host A GateWay A GateWay B Host B >SCO Open Server 5.04 FreeBSD 3.1 Stable SCO Open Server 5.04 SCO Open >Server 5.04 > >195.201.1.129 195.201.1.128 195.201.1.144 195.201.1.146 > >routing tables on host A: on host B: > >route add 195.201.1.144 195.201.1.128 route add 195.201.1.128 195.201.1.144 >route add 195.201.1.146 195.201.1.128 route add 195.201.1.129 >195.201.1.144 >on GateWay A: on GateWay B: >route add 195.201.1.144 195.201.1.135 route add 195.201.1.128 >195.201.1.134 >route add 195.201.1.146 195.201.1.135 route add 195.201.1.129 >195.201.1.134 >So, I can to ping Gateway B(195.201.1.144) and Host B(195.201.1.146) from Host A and GateWay A. >Thats's fine. >But, I can't to ping Gateway A(195.201.1.128) or host A (195.201.1.129) from Gateway B, although I can ping >Host A and >Gateway A from Host B. >GateWay B is dialin server with PPP Morning Star v. 2.1 >Please help me ! >Thanks !
