I'm referring to RELENG_7 by the way; I don't think > nocona is recognised by the base system gcc on RELENG_6. > nocona is definitely supported by base gcc in RELENG_6_3 and is listed in the gcc manpage : nocona Improved version of Intel Pentium4 CPU with 64-bit extensions, MMX, SSE, SSE2 and SSE3 instruction set support.
