Here is a sample session: % cd /usr/src/sys/i386/conf % config GENERIC (...) % cd ../../compile/GENERIC % make -j4 depend ... ===> libiconv perl @/kern/makeobjops.pl -c @/libkern/iconv_converter_if.m Can't open perl script "@/kern/makeobjops.pl": No such file or directory *** Error code 2 machine -> /usr/src/sys/i386/include @ -> /usr/src/sys perl @/kern/makeobjops.pl -h @/libkern/iconv_converter_if.m 1 error *** Error code 2 1 error *** Error code 2 1 error % It is obvious that "ln -s /usr/src/sys @" doesn't run *before* "perl @/kern/makeobjops.pl -c @/libkern/iconv_converter_if.m".
