TfH's advice earlier this week solved my problem with my atapi cd-rom and
mounting.
His advice was to either upgrade to kernel 2.2.7, or just replace atapi.c
and atapi.h in
your current kernel and rebuild.  I did the latter and my cd-rom works
perfectly now.
