I have a few boxes which have recently begun to behave rather badly - frequent panics and lots of errors being spewed out during fsck on reboot. I note that these particular boxes have one thing in common - they have vinum devices which are also mounted with softupdates enabled. Is this OK? I have not been able to find any mention of softupdates in the vinum man pages. Thanks for any pointers. Regards, Patrick.
