The article reads like most of the other "mainstream" press Linux has been getting in recent months, and the word 'arcane' is abused at least once. Yahoo is mentioned in passing, but not in the context of free software, and, as expected, FreeBSD is nowhere to be seen. A half-page anecdote by Andrew Leonard of Salon magazine describing his experience with Linux follows, abusing 'arcane' once again as he describes how one actually has to *gasp* configure a Linux box. Still, it's good to see that free software is getting mainstream attention, and has been said before, what's good for Linux is good for us. BTW, FreeBSD advocates who'd like to help alleviate this "UNIX is scary!" mentality are invited to contribute to my project to create a unified GUI configuration frontend.
