Nothing sounds familiar, but as a first step in debugging most ZFS issues, what does a `zpool scrub`, `zpool status -v` output? (Expect the scrub to take a while; depending on speed/size of your disks and system, it could be several hours, and it will run in the background.) Daniel T.
