I'm seeing errors like: | # root@tigger # /usr/ports/textproc/libxml # Wed 08 18:02 | # make | >> libxml-1.8.7.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist on this system. | >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/sources/libxml/. | Receiving libxml-1.8.7.tar.gz (890447 bytes): 100% | 30636 bytes transferred in 17.2 seconds (1.74 Kbytes/s) | ===> Extracting for libxml-1.8.7 | >> Checksum mismatch for libxml-1.8.7.tar.gz. | Make sure the Makefile and md5 file (/usr/ports/textproc/libxml/files/md5) | are up to date. If you want to override this check, type | "make NO_CHECKSUM=yes [other args]". | *** Error code 1 (This happens fairly reliably at around 32K.) My ISP has a transparent HTTP proxy, but doesn't mention anything about FTP proxies. Is this the likely problem, or is there something else I should look for? -- Christopher Vance To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
