We have several modems connected to a particalar machine that all initiate 9600 baud tty sesions. Normal Logins are fine, they connect and login successfully, and are perfectly usable, however when the UserID for UUCP (nuucp) and password, the first few characters of the banner appear, then the modem report NO CARRIER?
