>Description:
Toshiba Satellite 1800-554 is equipped with Trident CyberBlade A1i video card with 8MB RAM on board.
xorgcfg fails to start in graphical mode - hangs the system, probably
consuming 100% of CPU power. ACPI poweroff is the only thing operational.
xorg fails to start in the same manner; even changing video driver from
trident to vesa does not solve the problem.
the only way i managed to start xorg was with vga driver - it caused the display to start in some strange resolution (320x200 ?).
>How-To-Repeat:
Install full version of FreeBSD 5.4 on Toshiba Satellite 1800-554.
Try to run xorgcfg. Upgrading ports does not help.
