It was disabled from the last time I had this problem. However, since the upgrade from 4.8 to 4.9, FreeBSD seems to recognize it anyway. I haven't changed any of the BIOS settings. The actual setting is something like: AC97 onboard sound controller: [Disabled] -- "Since when is skepticism un-American? Dissent's not treason but they talk like it's the same..."
