Hi people, I've connected 2 PCs running FreeBSD 2.1.5 each, through modem, one working as PPP server and the other as the PPP client.However,I didn't seem to be able to telnet to the IP address I assign the client.I then tried ftping to that machine but still nothing.After getting the "Connected to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" message nothing happens.What I find a bit strange is that fingering works,echo works,chargen works and other services generally.So, what seems to be the problem with telnet and ftp?Can anyone help me plz? thx in advance _______________________________________________________ Get Private Web-Based Email Free http://www.hotmail.com
