Hello Im looking for the way to scan the ssid my wireless card can see: Im doing this: root@book /> kldload if_ipw.ko root@book /> /usr/sbin/ipwcontrol -i ipw0 -f /usr/local/share/ipw-firmware/ipw2100-1.3.fw root@book /> ifconfig ipw0 up root@book /> /usr/sbin/ipwcontrol -r Radio is ON root@book /> wicontrol ipw0 -l 0 stations: My AP is online 2 metes from the notebook. What am i doing wrong? how do i scan ssids? ive try wistumbler2, and it shows nothing either.. Thanks Phillip.
