You don't.
When you start the ppp USER mode program with the following options, ppp
will route the packets
between the interfaces!
Make sure that you have NO routing daemon running at your machine!!
/usr/sbin/ppp -auto -alias demand
This mode of USER ppp will automatically connect to the internet when
necessarily.
